... Hey, picked up a pair of Astro A40+Mixamp m80 (halo edition for the xbox) a few years ago.
Improperly configured microphone sensitivity settings can lead to unwanted background noise or a buzzing sound when putting your microphone to use.
My problem is ibhave the black mix amp from when i played ps4. All A40 TR Headsets ship with this microphone, so this should only be purchased if you need a replacement. Posted by 1 year ago.

Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a mic sensitivity adjust option in the settings menu. I play on ps4 and under party settings I can adjust mic sensitivity.
Is Microsoft ever going to make it where i can change my mics sensitivity? Xbox does not support microphone sensitivity, microphone just run at there defaul sensitivity. Press J to jump to the feed. Probably in settings.

I play on a Xbox One X with A40s and a mixamp 60. My friends/ fellow gamers only need to hear my voice... Not EVERYTHING that goes on in my background.
