Uepi Island Resort is on a private island in the stunning Marovo Lagoon. -excellent welcome drink cocktail :-) On the down side - drop off dives are repetitive -you have to leave. Rarely will you view such diverse concentrations of marine-life in such a varied environment, ranging from lagoon coral gardens to vertical drop-offs into 2000 metres of ocean (The Slot), mostly within the confines of a three kilometre stretch of reef. It was so good I wet myself -snorkelling with mantarays every morning before. It is remote (30mn from the "airport" through the lagoon), Sometimes, the plane don't come, and you're stuck in Uepi, what a shame !
