Three small, upper-middle-class neighborhoods, Middletown, Woodland Hills and Douglass Hills, and Anchorage, an upper-class community, make up the Outer East End of Louisville. The staff is great and they really care for the apartment dwellers! It is beautifully landscaped, the apartments are brand new, and it is centrally located. We noticed that the walls appeared to be fairly thin when we moved in but always tried to be respectful.

Recently, we had a clogged kitchen sink. Now, people openly smoke on their patios/balconies, smoke while walking their pets or while grilling at the various gazebos. Formerly known as Watermark on Hurstbourne, Hurstbourne Estates became the new name and, with it, came a change in the way the complex is managed. An example-there is not one pot hole in the pavement & they are repaying. They represent your company extremely well! We were also told that there would be no one living underneath us if we paid more to get the unit with a garage on the first floor, which is the whole reason we chose this complex. Cars will park illegally along the sidewalk for days at a time, making it difficult to navigate if you are trying to pull out of your garage or another parking spot. Management fails to communicate fees for services not included in your rent. They also charge a $2.50 pest control fee monthly but only spray your area if requested. There were only a handful of people living here at the time and we watched as the popularity of the complex grew and eventually, became understandably full. They won't even give us a second gate opener, and are extremely rude. Our community is pet friendly, welcoming both cats and dogs, and is located in the 40223 ZIP code. Contact us! We have grounds to walk your dog on and it is so peaceful. Formerly, the complex had a "no smoking" policy and it wasn't uncommon to see various residents smoking outside the gates.
