It was 90 seconds of a 90-minute brawl. Rebecca “Becky” Ann Powell, age 71 , of Childersburg, AL, died peacefully September 25th at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center of Birmingham, with her husband by her side. I am inspired by her ability to be real and what she has gone through is unfathomable.

I knew my empathy would be on overdrive. It is truly inspirational, as well as a can't-put-down kind of book. Becky had had no idea. Becky Powell faced the unthinkable on May 16, 2013, when her husband Mark called and confessed he’d done something awful. First, her husband, Mark, killed himself. A beautiful reminder that faith, hope and love trump all. This book is not yet featured on Listopia. This lady is definitely a nice lady who tries to do the right thing all the time. why would he have done it? This book is a quick read because once you start reading, you aren't able to stop. Within hours, she learned that he had taken his own life and, over a period of several years, millions of dollars from friends and colleagues. No charge. But for the media, it was Charlottesville all over again.
The sad story becomes beautiful in the way the wife and family survived th. But Becky thought otherwise. Her husband tragically took his own life, and she soon discovered that he owed millions of dollars to creditors. After reading the premise of the book, one might think it was a sad story. I recommend this incredible book to everyone! I am going to start with the good of the book. It's also the best place to hear about upcoming events and gatherings!
