Yasur Camping Ground and Tree House Features. We can't tell if you're a human or a bot. In the afternoon we went to Port Resolucion (1000 vatu pp per one way by car), a charming little village with two stunning beaches (white sand & black sand) and a very yummy restaurant (watchout: you might have to pay if you want to access the beach. Also, the prices on Tanna were 2-3 x more expensive than published in our Lonely Planet (we expect that everything has gone up after the cyclone when they restarted rebuilding everything) - but the money is all for the local villagers so that is a good thing.
Thomas and his family went out of their way to look after us and helped us see a glimpse of the real Vanuatu.

Ask for our guide, Koety; he's a great guy. All in all, a stunning location but disappointing value for NZ$50 / AUS$40 per night.
The evening that we arrived we first stopped at the volcano rim and saw one of the most spectacular natural wonders in our entire life: the errupting lava less than 100m from where you stand is purely impressive!!! The amenities/utilities here are comparable to a regular campground - toilets, showers, that's about it. There is a small shop next to the dining. Members can access discounts and special features. Not sure what you mean by 'dodgy treehouse' but there are a few treehouse accommodations run by villages (most have no power or limited power etc) but a very authentic experience. We have been travelling quite a lot around the world, and this will remain one of our best souvenirs in Vanuatu.The place is just great, you are just at the entrance of the vulcano.
We also walk to the sea (2h walk to Cook's bay) with an empty beach.Do not expect a 5 star equipment as it is quite basic.

Lina and her girls prepared some lovely local meals with local ingredients in their kitchen - worthwhile spending a bit of money on instead of bringing your own snacks.
