I had 3 phone calls and then was flown to DC to interview in person. Overall it was a great experience. Mostly technical questions about how to utilize certain data sets to accomplish a task. I need a bit more time to flesh things out and to see all the moving parts. Strengths/ weakness, what is your greatest accomplishment, tell me about something that other smart people disagree with you on and why. Had a chance to ask some questions at the end. My understanding is that with the software decomposition questions they give a problem and ask you how their platform can be used to solve it.

Also asked about what is broken around me. I'm halfway through the process- I spoke with a recruiter who basically screened that I was the sort of recruit they are looking for. The dinner began with a quick demo by a current Deployment Strategist of the product - with the example being the use case of preventing money laundering - and then included a quick tour of the office and dinner at a restaurant next door.At this stage I was given the option to either do a phone interview or come onsite. I continued in the process and ultimately was invited to an on-site but was forced to withdraw from the process because of an exploding deadline elsewhere. I opted for the phone interview, rather than an onsite, to be courteous of taking too much time off work, but I later found this was silly as my phone interviewer 10 minutes in told me that I would be progressing to a final round and that the phone interview was a waste of time.

Next spoke to someone actually in the role for a 30 minute phone call. Third interview was on-site in New York, NY, and consisted of three interviews, two behavioral and one 'case based.'
The phone interview was entirely fit questions with some of the more typical Palantir/Peter Thiel kind of questions.After this round, I was brought onsite a week later. Then two weeks later I had an on site interview that lasted half a day with behavioral and technical question, at the NY office.
First was a 30 min call from a recruiter with basic questions about my interest in Palantir, why I'd be a good fit, and some short behavioral questions.
nothing creative. Was asked a deconstruction/case question which was an actual case that the deployment strategist worked on. This will replace the current featured interview for this targeted profile. The first interview was a phone interview with an internal recruiter which was simple, the second was a phone interview with a Deployment Strategist which was much the same as the recruiter interview (why Palantir, tell me about you, when have you dealt with ambiguity, etc. It was here that I was told I was not a good fit for the company.

In the behavioral interviews, I was asked short analytical questions, but, seeming appeased with my responses, we moved on to spend most of our time just speaking casually and intellectually toying with some of the classic Palantir questions.
